Since 1997, AFC Transportation has partnered with the City of Houston and local counties to provide safe, reliable public transportation and transit services to those living within Houston and its outlying areas. Our company’s growth has afforded us many opportunities to service the Houston area with transit services, and we are always receptive to accepting bids on new transit projects.
In our partnerships with local city and county transportation departments, we have always remained flexible to our clients’ transit service requirements. We offer a full spectrum of transit and commuter services tailored to the specific needs of our customers, including vehicles, transportation services and transit logistics management. AFC Transportation is capable of starting a new transit system, taking over an existing transportation system and everything in between. As a contracted provider of public transportation to Harris County, Fort Bend County and the Houston Metro area, AFC Transportation has acquired many years of trusted experience in the transit service industry.
Public Transportation Vehicles
AFC Transportation is capable of providing our own transit vehicles from our large vehicle fleet, including mini buses for demand response transportation and transit-style, wheelchair-accessible buses with front and mid door entrances. Alternatively, we can also operate vehicles owned by the organization contracting our services; our comprehensive transit services include maintenance, insurance and fuel.

Transit Commuter Services
Houston Metro Transportation - AFC Transportation has been providing transit commuter services through Trek Houston since 2000.
Trek Houston’s Trek Express program offers two public bus transportation routes servicing the Greenway Plaza and Uptown/Galleria areas as a cost-effective, pollution-reducing alternative for city commuters. Additionally, AFC Transportation offers vanpool and carpool resources through Trek Houston, providing commuters with the vehicles, networks and service necessary to carpool efficiently.
